Project Charter & Product Vision One-Pager
The hybrid initiation artifact: sponsor-signable, fits on one page.
The problem it solves
Everyone has a different mental model of what the project is. Nothing can be prioritised because nothing has been agreed.
How to run it
- 1Draft the goal sentence alone, in under 25 words.
- 2Fill the out-of-scope box before the in-scope box — it is the harder and more useful half.
- 3Circulate to three stakeholders separately and note where their edits disagree.
- 4Run one 45-minute alignment session on the disagreements only.
- 5Get the sponsor's written sign-off and pin it wherever the team works.
What's inside
- Goal statement and business rationale
- In-scope / explicitly out-of-scope
- Sponsor, PM, decision rights
- Success measures and first 30-day outcome
- Top three assumptions and constraints

Work with me
Sometimes the fix needs a person, not a template.
I am Tigran Zakarian, a senior project manager with 13 years of end-to-end delivery for clients such as H&M Group, TV4, SEB and Clear Channel. I work on exactly the situations described across this site: rescuing drifting deliveries, setting up governance that people actually use, and facilitating the workshops that unblock decisions.
